        PIONEER AIR HEATER

Pioneer Air Heater is an improved form of the basic concept of hot air generating system. Ambient air enters into the air heater from the side top and being heated from the hot surfaces, it flows into the drying chamber being drawn by the drier's hot air fan. Flue gases are drawn by the Induced Drought Fan through the two vertical rows of tube banks on either sides of the furnace area and casting surfaces to the chimney. In Pioneer Air Heaters ambient air passes through triple passes and flue gas passes through five passes. These multiple passing of ambient air and flue gas in this improved design with compact and planned inner surface provides excess heat in the hot air.

QUALITY CASTINGS : All Cast iron parts are made from special heat resistant and superior quality castings so as to ensure their withstanding capacity at high and temperature. Use of graded castings also eliminates rapid deterioration of castings in and around the furnace area and gives much durability assurance.

HIGH THERMAL EFFICIENCY : Pioneer Air Heaters are designed for better heat transfer. Our FIVE PASS model is more efficient than the SOUBLE PASS model as flue gas passes five times before escaping into the atmosphere and so the flue gas temperature is reduced which provides higher thermal efficiency. Since the flue passes through the tubes instead of over them, these tubes can be cleaned and maintained for better heat transfer. The net efficiency varies from 55% to 70% depending on the mode.

MULTIPLE FUEL PROVISIONS : Pioneer Air Heaters are easily opera table with different kinds of solid fuel (viz. wood, coal, leco, briquette waste, bagasse etc.), liquid fuel (viz. light distillate, heavy furnace oil) and gas firing.

OPTIONAL STOCKING SYSTEMS : Besides manual stoking Pioneer Air Heaters can be conveniently fitted with mechanical stoking system. This helps in precise degree of control of feeding of coal for maximum heat extraction and consistent temperature.

INDUCED DRAUGHT FANS : Pioneer Induced Draught Fans of four different sizes are specially designed to suit with Pioneer Air Heaters for perfect passing of flue gas which is one of the important aspects for better thermal efficiency. We recommend Pioneer Induced Drautht Fans to achieve the highest performance of Pioneer Air Heaters.
